On the occasion of National Librarian’s Day, the Gyan Dhara Central Library and Department
of Library and Information Science of Nirwan University Jaipur, under the leadership of
Dr. Reena Anand, Head Librarian cum Associate Professor, organized a celebratory event to
honor the crucial role of libraries in academic institutions.
The program began with a lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the esteemed dignitaries,
marking the formal commencement of the event. The chief guests included Honorable
Chairperson Dr. S.L. Sihag, Honorable Vice-Chairperson and CEO Dr. R.K. Arora, Honorable
President Prof. Dr. Prashant Beniwal, Registrar Prof. N.D. Jasuja, and Respected Dr. Sanjay
Khanna, OSD.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Reena Anand, who greeted the dignitaries and
attendees. In her speech, she emphasized the library’s significant role in providing
comprehensive resources and services to support faculty and students. She highlighted the
library's efforts to ensure continuous access to information and quality services.
