School of Basic and Applied Sciences & School of Agricultural Sciences in

with IQAC organized a Field Visit to “Rajasthan Olive Cultivation Limited (ROCL)” on
the occasion of “World Food Day” on 16 Oct. The intent behind organizing the visit
was to
make students understand the minute details of cultivation of different varieties of plants. The
Protocol, process, precautions were the key highlights that were discussed and shown during the
visit. The composition of fertilizers and temperature regulations along with the relevance of
depth of seeding were also discussed with the students. The process of hardening of plantlets
and then shifting it to fields was also shown through the specific units assigned for the
procedure. Students appreciated the visit and looking forward for more experiential learning
visits.
