Awareness Lectures on UGC initiative 'SMilES Project' With reference to the UGC activity of implementation of Project SMilES (Stronger India through a Million Health Educated Students) in Educational Institutions.
Nirwan University Jaipur organized a session on 19.06.2023 as awareness lectures on risk factors of fatty liver. Prof. Preeti Sharma, Dean & Professor, School of Basic and Applied Sciences delivered a lecture on "PREVENTIVE NUTRITION FOR FATTY LIVER DISEASE" and Dr. K.C. Saini, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany delivered a lecture on "CURRENT FOOD HABITS AND THE RISK OF FATTY LIVER".
The aim of the lectures was to educate the listeners about various factors that contribute to the development of fatty liver disease and nutrition that can be used to prevent the fatty liver diseases. Thus disease is also known as hepatic steatosis, is a condition characterized by the accumulation of excess fat in the liver. Students and faculty members participated very enthusiastically.
