It offers UG program in BSc Agribusiness Management which is a four-year undergraduate program that offers both theoretical and practical knowledge regarding Agribusiness management. Agribusiness management provides employment opportunities in both government and private sectors.
The curriculum's basic methodology is to educate students on how to construct modern and effective agricultural methods to improve marketing strategies.
The candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination by BSER or equivalent listed in COBSE in any of the combinations of following subjects in Science/Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics . Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Basic knowledge about Management and Agribusiness Management: The main objective of this programme is to provide basic and applied knowledge of management and agribusiness management to students.
Problem solving: This programme focuses on identification of problems/s, review of literature, and analyzes management problems with the view to develop problem solving skills in students.
Managerial Skills: Agribusiness programme also focuses on developing managerial skills in students to understand the problems and reach up to valid solution/s. Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern management tools.
Identification and Designing of research problems: This is also an objective of this programme to design research problems regarding internal and external business environment by using research-based knowledge and research methods.
Utilization of Agribusiness principles and society: Use of different techniques to solve problems related to various sectors of agribusiness management with the view to fulfill need of increasing population.
Environment and sustainability: This programme is also focusing on understanding the impact of the managerial solutions in societal and environmental contexts for sustainable development.
This is objective of Agribusiness Management to make students aware of ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the management and agribusiness management practices.
Individual and team work: There is stress on coordination and cooperation among students so that they may work as team and as individual too.
Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.
Communication: Communicate effectively on management/ agribusiness seminars, conferences and day to day activities with the agricultural community and with society at large, such as, being able to understand and write useful reports and plan documentation, make effective presentations.
To introduce concepts and skills required for basic knowledge of management and agribusiness management field and its allied subjects (production and operations management, agribusiness policy, human resource, managerial economics, agricultural finance and Agri-preneurship).
To develop the managerial and research skills in market and laboratory conditions, including marketing mix viz. product, price, place, promotion along with processing and packaging of food products.
To provide the ample base and basic fundamental knowledge for the further managerial courses.
Introduce moral and societal values amongst the students so that they could became socially adjustable beings.
Student of ABM can apply for government sector for posts such as a bank, FCI, CWC, AAO and private sector such as fertilizer company, pesticide companies, ware houses etc.
Students can further proceed for a master’s degree through various entrance exams conducted by well-reputed universities.
Students can further proceed for their own start-up like mushroom cultivation, hydroponics, aeroponics, pearl farming, etc.
Depending on the purpose of your going abroad, search for alternatives, prepare towards the appropriate examinations for competency in English and for the core subject matter. For your English proficiency, you need to take IELTS or TOEFL. GMAT score is needed for MBA admission.
